Description
Adaptation of the second novel of Natsuhiko Kyogoku's "Hyakki Yakou Series."
The story follows a series of bizarre murders of schoolgirls who have been dismembered and stuffed into boxes. Private investigator Kiba Shutaro is hired by a missing daughter's mother and joins forces with three other men that he knows from the past. There's Sekiguchi Tatsumi, a novelist traumatized by war; Enokizu Reijiro, a childhood friend of Kiba with a unique supernatural ability; and finally Chuuzenji Akihiko, an enigmatic antique bookseller and part-time priest. Together, they work to unravel the mystery of this murder spree.
